About

Short version: Guitarist obsessed with technology & the web with a background in beer, blues and 80′s rock/metal.  This site is about everything guitar, hope you find the information helpful.

Long version:
Born in India and moved to England January ’08.  Growing up around musicians it was only natural that I pick up an instrument sooner or later.  It started off with the school band which was a whole lotta fun while it lasted.  After school I played with my share of pop, rock and metal bands (mostly 80′s music).  I was never too serious about guitar so I was an average musician for most of my playing years.  My musical journey was a blast though, as I got to play with some talented musicians and forged good friendships along the way.

It was not until I stopped playing in a band that I started to get serious about guitar and music theory.  Late ’07 I found the inspiration to start playing again (after Satriani’s “Super Colossal”), resurrected my old guitar tech site after 6 years and here I am!  How far I’ll go this time I don’t know, but I’m keen on playing in an 80′s rock and metal tribute band.  I’m also working on finishing up tunes I’ve written over the years.

Musical influences:
Paul Gilbert – Racer X, Mr.Big
John Petrucci – Dream Theater, Liquid Tension Experiment
Joe Satriani
Kee Marcello – Europe
Steve Lukather – Toto
Richie Sambora – Bon Jovi
Jeff Hanneman – Slayer
Alex Skolnick – Testament
KK Downing & Glenn Tipton – Judas Priest
Randy Rhoads – Quiet Riot, Ozzy Osbourne

…add some jazz, blues, Van Halen, AC/DC, Whitesnake, Skid Row, Morbid Angel, Hammerfall, Metallica, COB, Arch Enemy, even ABBA (hah!) and a list of glam bands ;)

That’s it about me!
