I’ve been hosting websites at Godaddy for over 4 years and things went well until I ran into a host of issues with them and decided it’s time to move on. On that note, the website will be inaccessible tomorrow, but everything should work well once it’s back up.
I’ve been busy the last two months looking for work while doing a mini project hence the silence. However, I’m back for a while and will continue working on the site to make it as informative as it used to be. Will add some lessons, exercises, reviews and guides to help with technique and get you comfortable with the guitar, whether it is setting up or customizing it.
I have also learned that many visitors are following links to the old tech section which are now dead, so I’ll get the old guitar tech section up and running soon.
I’ve canned the old guitar site that I started back in ’99 because it is too much work to clean up, and a large percentage of the information I shared then may not be interesting or relevant anymore. Technology has evolved so much in the last couple of years, especially for music production, where the line between home studio and a professional recording den is starting to blur.
The quality and cost of instruments, effects units and other hardware have moved firmly in favor of musicians. Besides, computing has also advanced dramatically. Anyway, I’ve decided to resurrect the site and keep it updated with good information to serve as a handbook or FAQ for any musician. While many topics will revolve around guitar I will try to cover home recording and production in general.
